Living Systems
The Living Systems resource covers how energy flows through systems and materials cycle. The main idea is that waste is always food for another part of a living system. It looks at how materials cascade through systems effectively. One example is how new timber becomes building material, which becomes chipboard, which becomes discarded and eventually burnt. Ideally the ashes are returned to the forest to close the cycle.
