Douwe Jan Joustra works for NL Agency, the Netherlands governmental agency for innovation, energy and sustainable development. He is one of the leading participants in the strategic team Cradle to Cradle.
He is also programme manager of the Innovation programme Climate Neutral Cities. In this initiative, Dutch communities work on systems innovations for enhancing the quality of climate neutral policies and initiatives. Douwe Jan is member of the National Taskforce on Sustainable Development, a workforce for the Dutch Cabinet. He is specially interested in systems thinking, based on ecological knowledge, as the emerging basis for the transition to a ‘good’ production and consumption system. He regularly publishes about his work on www.cradletocradle.ning.com
