The Ellen MacArthur Foundation ReDesign programme has provided the opportunity for more than 600 young people from schools and colleges across the UK to work, together with our founding partners, on some of the key challenges of the 21st century. Many schools have asked us what they can do next to engage more fully with the principles of the Circular Economy, and how they can carry this dynamic dialogue forward.

As a starting point, we are going to initiate an online community to support all of the Redesign participants which will take the form of a blog linked to our Facebook discussion page. To make this more interesting we are asking the winning teams from Project ReDesign to take responsibility for writing the blog and leading the discussions.
This will provide an opportunity for schools to present some local news items and showcase some of the schools activities inspired by the concept of the Circular Economy. It will also be a great opportunity for you and your teachers to promote your ideas and projects to a wider audience.
Schools will take it in turn to host this blog for a period of two weeks each starting with Hutchesons’ Grammar School on 2nd May with live updates and discussions continuing throughout the internship period in early July.
