An official report published by the Danish Government’s Climate Commission (Klimakommissionen) predicts that the country could put an end to its fossil fuel dependency by 2050, relying on wind and biomass to produce its energy.
Recommending that the government starts investing 0.5% of the country’s GDP in order to turn this vision into a reality, the report stresses that the objective is within reach.
