PricewaterhouseCoopers have published a new report entitled Minerals and metals scarcity in manufacturing: The ticking timebomb.
The report’s central focus is on how the impact of minerals and metals scarcity on business will increase strongly in the next five years.
The document also highlights some of the business opportunities presented in addressing resource scarcity, such as effective lifecycle assessment, extending product life, take-back programmes and closed loop product design.
