Role at the Foundation
Clare joined the Ellen MacArthur Foundation in 2015 and leads the Foundation's communications. The Foundation recognises communications as one of its five core work areas, with the aim of informing and engaging change-makers to accelerate the transition to a circular economy, at a global scale.
The communications team works across the Foundation’s core programme and project teams to present circular economy concepts, and evidence of how they are being applied, via digital platforms, tools and websites, media, social media, events and research reports and books, all united by a strong visual identity.
Clare's background lies in international economics and marketing, with a BSc (Econ) in International Trade and Development from the London School of Economics, and an MA from London Metropolitan University. She has worked across non-profit and business sectors, often bridging the gap between the two. She has lived and worked in various countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, before returning home to the Isle of Wight.
