Role at the Foundation
Gail joined the Foundation to head up a team developing an exciting new initiative taking circular economy learning to an even wider audience, using our knowledge base and expertise to provide applications with global reach.
A combination of collaborative online learning, communication campaigns, applied project work, immersive face-to-face events, community networks, and interactions, will aim to ensure that many more people have the opportunity to become circular economy practitioners, in a variety of industries and sectors and on an international scale.
The project has been made possible due to the continued generous funding from Wendy Schmidt and the Schmidt Family Foundation.
With a degree in Economics and Management, Gail worked within Economic Regeneration, before forging a 15-year career in the marketing and communications field, becoming a successful Director of integrated marketing agency. Working on B2B campaigns for brands such as MHI Vestas Offshore Wind and high profile consumer brands such as Fat Face, Volvo Car UK and Hugo Boss. Gail has a specific interest and passion for watersports, and spends much of her time off teaching young children to sail.
