Jo Miller

Higher Education Programme Manager

Role at the Foundation

Jo is responsible for managing the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s three interlinked international higher education programmes – the Pioneer University Programme, the Schmidt MacArthur Fellowship and the Network University Programme. Together they form a global network of academic institutions leading the thinking in teaching, learning and research on the circular economy.

As well as overseeing each programme she works closely with the network to develop collaborations and knowledge exchange amongst universities, as well working across the Foundation to facilitate symbiotic interactions with our other programmes. Jo has worked for the Foundation since its launch, playing a key role in setting up and establishing the higher education programme.

Prior to joining the Foundation she worked in science communication, for the Science Museum in London developing content and managing the development of exhibitions, before running her own company working with museums around the world.
