Every gorgeous baby produces a lot of dirty nappies. Disposable should mean disposable, not forever in landfill. Our simple system pairs soft cotton gPants diaper covers with disposable inserts that are flushable (North America & Australia only), compostable (wet ones only) and absorbent enough to work for real parents with busy lives.
Disposable Inserts are Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Silver, a certification trusted around the world for ecologically intelligent design.
Founded by Kim and Jason Graham-Nye when expecting their first child, who were staggered that 50 million disposable diapers were being thrown away every single day in the United States alone and that each one of those diapers would take 500 years to biodegrade. So they went on a mission to find that better way.
Since 2005 gDiapers has expanded from Sidney to the US, Canada, Europe and Asia
From day one gDiapers has worked along circular design principles. Everything that goes into gDiapers’ Disposable Inserts are products that mother nature would be proud to take back, so they can be safely flushed (North America and Australia only) or composted (wet ones only).
With a mission to end waste as we know it and create a world of abundance, gDiapers is working on initiatives to make this return to nature easier – creating systems that end diaper waste as we know it, creating resources rather than pollution.
gDiapers sees that waste as we know it must end.
By using circular principles as guiding strong innovation in product design as well as forging creative collaborations across industries and continents, the aim of regenerating nature's resources can be achieved, whilst creating successful sustainable businesses that bring success and health to both the Earth and people. gDiapers is keen to collaborate with CE100 partners and the Ellen MacArthur foundation to accelerate this process.
