Building the circular economy — LEGO joins Ellen MacArthur Foundation Network

August 31, 2020

We are delighted to welcome The LEGO Group to our network.

As new members of the world’s leading circular economy network, the company will work with the Foundation and other members to share ideas and drive the global transition to a circular economy.

The LEGO Group’s ambition is that by 2025, all packaging will be made from renewable or recycled materials, which will then be recyclable in turn. By 2030, it aims to make all core products using renewable or recycled resources, generating little or no waste in their production.

Its Replay programme enables LEGO® owners to donate their bricks for reuse, by providing free shipping, washing, and sorting, before giving them to children’s charities.
