Foundation partners with the World Circular Economy Forum Online

The Foundation is an official partner of the virtual World Circular Economy Forum (WCEFonline), taking place on the 29th & 30th September 2020.

Through six separate sessions, the WCEFonline will enable the circular community from all over the world to participate in discussions, and demonstrate how the circular economy can enhance resilience on a business and societal level.

The Foundation will co-host The journey to a circular economy in the Canada-US region which seeks to understand the current barriers and opportunities within the energy, resource, and manufacturing sectors.

With keynotes from Inger Andersen (UN Environment) and Minister Jonathan Wilkinson (Environment and Climate Change Canada), this interactive dialogue will bring together circular economy leaders from across Canada and the US to identify priority areas for collaboration.

Dame Ellen MacArthur will deliver her keynote speech which explores the circular economy as a pathway to redefined growth and enhanced resilience.

The Foundation will be hosting the closing session of the WCEFonline, Enabling the Circular Economy: The Role of Policy & Finance, inviting the following guests to discuss what role the financial services sector and policymakers can play in enabling and accelerating the transition to a circular economy.
