Since its launch in November 2016, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s iTunes U collection has provided daily inspiration for 2000 educators around the world, with one of the most popular courses ‘Seeing the Bigger Picture’, currently featured by Apple as a ‘standout course’ with over 16,900 downloads to date.
To support the initial iTunes U offering, the Foundation's Education team have created six new themed collections, to be released fortnightly starting this week. The first of these collections focuses on the topic of cities, and provides educators with the opportunity to explore the connection between the circular economy and cities, and to completely rethink where we live, work and play.
The first collection, made up of a total of 12 resources, includes content from the Disruptive Innovation Festival and Circulate, in the form of videos, podcasts, articles and reports. There’s also the opportunity to explore the idea of regenerative cities in an animation by the University of Sheffield, and digest the Foundation’s report Achieving Growth Within, launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos this year.
The Foundation’s iTunes U site currently displays more than 60 items. Explore the whole collection and take a look at the new Cities resources here.
