Day 2: Photo blog

The second day of the Schmidt-MacArthur Summer School was all about the business case for the circular economy. Participants heard from the Foundation’s business analyst and our business partners including Philips, IBM and Royal BAM.

The Business Challenge
Fellows & mentors discussed the broad issues around the adoption of circular economy with experts from the Foundation’s CE100 programme. This was followed in the afternoon with a Business Innovation Workshop with Professor Ioannis Ioannou from the London Business School.

Some of our 2013 Fellows returned this year to catch up with the new Fellows and showcase what they have been up to since last year.

The Soap Box offered students the chance to air a view, voice an opinion, challenge an idea or seek input from other students and mentors on any aspect of the circular economy model.
