Walter Stahel becomes full member of Club of Rome

January 17, 2013

We are delighted to announce that our Independent Expert Advisor and friend Walter Stahel has recently become a full member of the Club of Rome, which represents the highest level of recognition granted by the prestigious group. The Club of Rome pulls together leading international experts in a variety of disciplines, who are committed to researching practical solutions to the global issues that we face. Walter Stahel has played a key part in providing potential answers to the questions raised in the Club’s seminal paper “The Limits to Growth”, published in 1972. To add to this success, Walter was also awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor of the University of Surrey, in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the field of performance and circular economy.

The Foundation looks forward to continuing its successful collaboration with Dr. Stahel throughout 2013, in our mutual commitment to pushing forward the transition to a circular economy.
