Project Manager, New Plastics Economy

Role at the Foundation

Annette is a Project Manager for the New Plastics Economy Innovation team focusing particularly on catalysing reuse packaging solutions. She drives momentum for upstream innovation through publications (the Reuse Book), supporting large corporates and innovators and by driving collaborative projects across the value chain.

Background

Before joining the Foundation, Annette worked as a strategy and policy consultant at Ramboll Management Consulting and in the NGO Plastic Change, where she joined the Expedition Plastic sailing across the Pacific Ocean to document the scale of plastic pollution. She has a background in sustainable urban development working in the intersection between the private and public sector through most of her career. Annette has a degree in Political Science from Copenhagen University and has studied or worked in Copenhagen, Costa Rica, Paris, Brussels and Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
