Emma Fromberg is a designer by background and is part of the Learning Team of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. She is interested in exploring how design can support the transition to a circular economy. At the Foundation she leads informal learning, in which the annual Disruptive Innovation Festival plays a significant role. Besides informal learning, she works within the Circular Design Team on smart material choices and material health.
Background:
Before joining the Foundation, Emma was Founder and Design Lead of her design-driven start-up: The CirQlight. This is a product-service system that delivers bicycle lighting through a performance model. She was also involved in the development of the world's first Circular Economy MOOC as a project lead at Delft University of Technology.
The Ellen MacArthur Foundation works in Education & Training, Business & Government, Insight & Analysis, Systemic Initiatives and Communications to accelerate the transition to a circular economy.
