Role at the Foundation
Gerald is leading the programme for the New Plastics Economy Global Commitment, the leading global platform that unites businesses and governments behind a common vision to change how we produce, use, and reuse plastic, keeping it in our economies and out of our oceans.
Background
Before working on the New Plastics Economy, Gerald worked with Global Partners on their journey towards circular economy and lead the writing of the paper Artificial intelligence and circular economy. Before moving to the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, Gerald worked more than 10 years for ING Bank, of which five years in the Sustainable Finance team, where he designed and lead the Circular Economy program. Gerald holds a degree in business and international law.
