Role at the Foundation
Ilma works in the learning team, where she creates and delivers learning programmes for the professional audiences, develops circular economy related resources, and designs and facilitates learning experiences online and face to face.
Background
Prior to joining the Foundation, Ilma worked in various project management and business development roles for several organisations which included a social entrepreneurship NGO in Malaysia, an import business in Egypt, the Lithuanian Embassy in London, and sustainability leadership NGO Lead International. She holds an action research based MSc degree in Sustainability and Responsibility from Ashridge Executive Education.
Outside of work, Ilma organises Sustainable Development Goals Network meet-ups in London and facilitates nature connection camps in Devon and Cornwall. She is also a Yoga teacher, Kung Fu practitioner, storyteller, and outdoor educator, who loves spending her time in the wilderness.
