Role at the Foundation

Karen worked for nearly a year as a Freelance Consultant for the Foundation before joining full time in April 2019. As HR Manager, her key role is to ensure the People Managers have the support and confidence to effectively manage their teams to achieve the vision and mission of the Foundation. Part of this involves ensuring that the Foundation have the right people in the right roles and that they are supported throughout their exciting employment journey.

Background

Karen loves the Isle of Wight, choosing to commute to university whilst studying a Law Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Personnel Management, and has spent her working life at businesses based on the Island. More recently as People and Development Business Partner at Liz Earle and HR Manager at Artigiano, both Island born and grown companies.

In her spare time she is a 'football Mum' supporting her two boys from the sidelines!
