Role at the Foundation

Laura's role at the Foundation involves coordinating, developing, and helping run our Disruptive Innovation Festival (DIF). Working effectively with internal and external teams to make this programme globally significant, Laura ensures that the DIF plays a key role in the Foundation's mission to accelerate the transition to a circular economy.

Background

Laura is originally from Spain but has lived abroad in Canada, Ireland, and the UK. After studying her degree in Economics in Spain and Ireland, she moved to the international development field. She holds a masters in Development Studies from the Institute of Development Studies where she did research on how the circular economy can help address environmental and social challenges in Uruguay. She loves meeting and learning from people from different backgrounds, sports, and new adventures!
