Government Policy Lead / Cities Project Lead
Miranda leads on engagement with national policymakers, exploring the conditions they can set to enable, accelerate and lead the transition to a circular economy. Understanding the reinforcing links with activity in cities, in regions, and internationally is part of this. She recently led the project team behind the Circular economy in cities resources suite, looking at circular economy opportunities in major urban systems and the benefits a circular economy can bring to cities. Prior to this she worked in the CE100 team on insights and collaboration with the network of businesses, government and cities, innovators and thought leaders, to realise circular economy ambitions faster.
Prior to the Foundation, Miranda has worked as a policy advisor at HM Treasury, was a blue book stagiaire at the EU Commission, and worked in a range of market development, strategy and fundraising roles in social enterprises, charities and a design business. She graduated from Cambridge and has a master’s from LSE. Away from work she loves sports, a good adventure, and art and design.
