Role at the Foundation
Sara leads the Innovation Programme for plastic packaging and has been with the Foundation since 2018. As a part of the New Plastics Economy initiative, the Innovation Programme aims to push the thinking, catalyse innovation and expand the solution space to achieve a circular economy for plastics. Among others we work with large corporates as well as emerging innovators from across the industry to gather and publish insights https://www.ellenmacarthurfoundation.org/assets/downloads/Reuse.pdf as well as drive momentum towards upstream solutions through our collaborative projects. Sara focus broadly on innovations within new delivery models (incl models that eliminate the need for packaging and reuse models), collection, recycling, composting etc.
