Exeter’s commitment to circular economy is to accelerate, expand and create new ways of thinking about, and enable the practical modelling and design of, future circular economies. This work will involve a wider range of partners in the co-production of ideas, pushing back the frontiers of theory and concept in the circular economy from beyond the boundaries of the traditional University academy.
A key part of this work will be to develop innovative and co-produced educational materials and engage, share and communicate findings with a wide range of communities globally.
"To accelerate the transition to a circular economy requires ambition, deep commitment and a willingness to take calculated risks. Exeter University recognises the importance of circular economy to address the systemic challenges facing human society and our global economies in the era of the anthropocene. Our pioneer status will enable us to create further momentum and academic leadership in circular economy."
