The Ellen MacArthur Foundation believes that business innovation sits at the heart of any transition to the circular economy. The Foundation works with its Global Partners (Danone, Google, H&M, Intesa Sanpaolo, NIKE, Inc., Philips, Renault, Solvay and Unilever) to develop circular business initiatives and address the challenges of their implementation.
In 2013, with the support of our Global Partners, we created the world’s first dedicated circular economy innovation programme, the Circular Economy 100 (CE100). Programme members comprise industry-leading corporations, emerging innovators (SMEs), affiliate networks, government authorities, regions and cities. The CE100 provides a unique forum to build circular capabilities, address common barriers to progress, understand the necessary enabling conditions, and pilot circular practices in a collaborative environment.
