We are seeking an experienced Events Producer to lead the design and production of online and physical events for our Network in the Latin America region.
Reporting to the Latin America Network Manager, in this role you will will be responsible for the end-to-end events process in the region, working between the regional Network team and the global Events team (based in the UK) to deliver world-class events which embody our brand, such as workshops, summits and launch events, to inspire and allow effective collaboration between participants from our networks.
Specific role responsibilities include:
End-to-end design of event journeys for regional audiences in Latin America delivering seamless and memorable experiences that drive engagement and contribute to circular economy understanding and practice.
Coordination and technical support of online regional events via various digital platforms; event planning, timelines, creating and sending out invitations, creating mailing lists, sending follow-up emails to attendees and suppliers etc.
Coordination of international physical or hybrid events across region to include event planning, timelines, managing registrations, sourcing and coordinating venues and suppliers, including team travel and accommodation.
Event cost control and budgeting.
Working with other teams to facilitate the inclusion of regional elements in international events.
Liaison with internal project teams, external speakers, delegates and our partner organisations.
Administrative support for the Latin America team relating to events.
Organising team briefings in advance of events.
Administration of registration data in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation.
Creation and proofing of event documentation (printed and digital) including design and production of PowerPoint presentations.
Onsite coordination of events including front of house and supplier briefings.
Review and feedback process to ensure learnings are implemented and improvements implemented for attendees and the Foundation as a whole.
Your profile:
Previous relevant event production experience with ability to demonstrate full end-to-end running of large, high-profile events in a commercial setting, both physical and online.
Strong IT skills; a high level of competency with Office suite and event Management Software.
Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
The ability to work well under pressure and deal effectively with high work volumes.
Team player as well as the ability to work independently.
Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to prioritise and problem solve before and during events with a high level of self-motivation.
Creative thinking.
Willingness to travel internationally.
The right to live and work in Brasil.
Events Producer: Latin America Desired starting date: ASAP
Closing date: 10th February 2023
Salary range: up to BRL 6,100 per month depending on experience level.
