Our Network evolved from a group of four founding partners, who were the companies that supported Ellen MacArthur during her record-breaking sailing career. From this small original group, in just over a decade, we have convened the world’s leading circular economy network.
The Network has a tiered structure of Strategic Partners, Partners and Members. All companies in our Network must align with the Foundation’s vision for the circular economycircular economyA systems solution framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. It is based on three principles, driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials (at their highest value), and regenerate nature., have set (or be setting) ambitious targets, and be demonstrating progress. The key difference between our tiers is the intensity of our work together and the depth of strategic alignment around priority initiatives.
