University College London's (UCL) Mariana Mazzucato is on a mission to bust the myth that the private sector is only innovative and that the public sector is only bureaucratic. Indeed, she makes the point that many of our most popular examples of innovation today started with funding and focus from public sector institutions, and that we should embrace the critical role that they play in delivering positive innovation and solutions.
