To solve big problems like climate change, waste, and pollution, we need to rethink how we design, make, and use the things we need, from the food we eat to the clothes we wear. We need to transform our current economy.

To tackle global challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution, we need to rethink how we design, make, and use the things we need, from the food we eat to the clothes we wear.

In our current, linear economylinear economyAn economy in which finite resources are extracted to make products that are used - generally not to their full potential - and then thrown away ('take-make-waste')., we take materials from the Earth, make products from them, and eventually throw them away as waste. By contrast, a circular economycircular economyA systems solution framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. It is based on three principles, driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials (at their highest value), and regenerate nature. transformation will stop  waste from being produced in the first place.

Together, we can create a better future for business, society, and the natural world.
