Circular Design for Fashion, has won another design award — a bronze Lion in book design at the Cannes Lions Festival. The book was also shortlisted in the Design — Communications Design — Print and Publishing category. 

Established in 1954, The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has become a meeting place for the global creative community to collaborate, partner & celebrate creativity that drives progress. Only 38 projects were awarded this year with 1058 entries (6 Gold, 10 Silver and 21 Bronze).

The book has also won two other prestigious global design awards — a gold pencil at the One Show Awards and a wooden pencil from D&AD. 

Published in December 2021, Circular Design for Fashion was written in recognition of fashion’s huge potential to shift towards a circular economycircular economyA systems solution framework that tackles global challenges like climate change, biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution. It is based on three principles, driven by design: eliminate waste and pollution, circulate products and materials (at their highest value), and regenerate nature. and in homage to its creatives. Providing insights from over 80 early practitioners of circular design in the fashion industry, it empowers designers, through a different creative lens, to redefine the future of fashion.
