Each year millions of tonnes of clothes are produced, worn, and thrown away. Every second, the equivalent of a rubbish truck load of clothes is burnt or buried in landfill. By considering the whole system surrounding their designs, creatives have the power to transform the fashion industry into one where clothing and accessories do not become harmful waste. In this episode we will be exploring what circular design for fashion means, and speak to creatives who are already doing it.

Circular Design Programme Manager, Elodie Rousselot will also join us to explore the Foundation’s new book, “Circular Design for fashion” which can be used as a guide to empower creatives who would like to start the journey towards circular design and redefine the future of fashion

Speakers featured:

  • Marina Testino, Creative Director and Artivist at Point Off View, Inc.

  • Josie Warden, Head of Regenerative Design at RSA

  • Rudo Nondo, Creative Design Practitioner at The African Rack & Country Co-Ordinator at Fashion Revolution Zimbabwe

  • Rebecca Garner, Circularity Partner at ASOS
