Why a focus on Circular Business Models and the circular economy?
Scaling Circular Business Models is critical for moving beyond incremental recycling efforts, towards bigger impact. Business leaders and CFOs need to be convinced about the business case to unlock the permission and funds to scale up current or future pilots. This sprint is geared to support the practitioners in our network to create the tools, business cases, evidence and storytelling vehicles needed to do this.

Create the tools, business cases, evidence and storytelling vehicles needed to gain C-suite alignment and funds to develop Circular Business Models
Identify the enabling conditions within different industries for Circular Business Models to scale, through pre-competitive collaboration, with potential for follow-up collaborative projects.

Day 1: Understanding and applying

Get inspired with case studies and stories from experts and startups
Day 2: Plotting the enabling conditions
Unpack what has already been tried to identify what’s needed for greater scalability
Engage with competitors, others sectors, and those in your value chain, on the shared challenges and solution spaces
Map out the enabling conditions needed to secure buy-in for broader development, to focus your efforts on Day 3 and 4
Day 3 and 4: Creating the evidence
Work to create and test the evidence and tools required to accelerate Circular Business Model development in your organisation and sector

Time involvement
3 hours prep time required 4-days in person
